I’ve been a professional jazz pianist since 1955 and have heard them all.. these two are on the way up… big time.Wow, I felt compelled to comment on this amazing singer…..the best thing I can say it is that I literally felt chills inside when I heard the first words of this subdued, rich voice. The other day I caught Wynton Marsalis on NPR & he talked about how the pauses and the parts you DON”T play or sing are just as potent as the parts you do…..just like the restraint a poet uses…..”lisag6″ ’s comment below nails it.
